My name is Kim I’m a mom of two, licensed esthetician and owner of KV Skin Studio located in Glendale.

My journey started when I was 16 I wanted my brows cleaned up and I was left with sharpie brows I hated them. I let them grow and went to a different location and again I hated them she literally only waxed the middle. It was my sign to learn to do my brows. From there I also fell in love with waxing, being a light skinned Mexican girl with dark hair sucked I felt like everyone could see my bigote so I started waxing myself, friends and family. Life happened but I always knew I wanted to be a waxer but didn’t have the time or money for school. In 2018 I chose esthetics found a school, became licensed and went solo. Fast forward five years I’m here growing, thriving and hiring. It hasn’t been an easy journey but here we are.
